While I am sure that the opinion of a toyota dealer will be viewed with total bias, I can say having grown up in a dealership operating for over forty years, that I have seen it all. I agree that Toyota mishandled this from every possible angle. They did EVERYTHING completely wrong. I can also say that as a dealer that writes 200 repair orders a day, 7 days a week, that we have never seen a single case of vehicle suffering from the alleged unintended acceleration.

It is also clear that whether or not this particular issue has merit, that Toyota has been far more concerned with growth than quality and keeping to their mantra of Kaizen. They are failing on so many fronts it is likely, IMHO, that they will soon have much in common with General Motors.
