Sports Illustrated loses in federal appeals court.

Great story in the Wall Street Journal online, regarding Coach Mike Prices defamation case against Sports Illustrated.

They are trying to use a first amendment argument in a civil defamation case  to not allow a source to be deposed. The WSJ did a long story last week that I highly recommend. I really hope Price nails these guys as the reporting looked to be sloppy, rushed and totally biased against the coach all in the desire to get a hot story out in the magazine on schedule.

We will be doing a story on The Legal Broadcast Network on this case in a couple of weeks.
